This Privacy Policy describes the online privacy practices of Real Tech Capital, LLC (“RTC,” “We,” or “Us”) and applies to information collected through www.realtechcap.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. You are not required to provide any information to visit the Site. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, the provider that hosts the Site automatically records standard server log information, which may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and operating system, the page requested, the referring web address, and the date and time of the request.

The Site does not use cookies, web beacons, analytics, or advertising technologies, and does not load content from third-party servers that would collect information about your visit.

2. How We Use Information

  • To respond to your inquiries;
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Site;
  • To comply with applicable law and legal process; and
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of RTC, our users, or others.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information:

  • To our affiliates, representatives, consultants, and investors, as reasonably necessary in connection with your inquiry;

4. Submissions

Any information you send us is subject to the Submissions Policy in our Terms and Conditions. As described there, we do not accept Submissions on a confidential or proprietary basis. Pitches submitted through the Superior Studios pitch form are governed by the Superior Studios Privacy Policy and Terms of Use instead.

5. Third-Party Websites

The Site links to websites operated by others, including Superior Studios, our portfolio companies, and forms hosted by third-party providers such as Airtable. Information you provide on those websites is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

6. Do Not Track

Because the Site does not track visitors over time or across third-party websites, it does not respond differently to “Do Not Track” browser signals. Third parties do not collect information about your online activities over time or across websites through the Site.

7. Retention

We keep correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider in accordance with its standard practices.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the Internet, including email, is completely secure. Please do not send us sensitive or confidential information by email.

9. Your Choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing info@realtechcap.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Visiting from Outside the United States

RTC operates the Site from Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. Information you provide to us or that we obtain through your use of the Site may be processed in and transferred to the United States and be subject to United States law. The privacy and data protection laws of the United States may not be equivalent to those of your country of residence.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Changes are effective when posted, and your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
